Work acrossmore than one discipline.
Appenji is deliberately multidisciplinary, which means most people here spend part of their time outside the thing they are best at. That suits some people considerably more than others.

What tends to mattermore than the job title.
Range over specialization
You have depth in something and enough reach to work next to the other four disciplines without needing a translator.
Willingness to be wrong out loud
Our work involves telling clients uncomfortable things early. That is easier if you are practiced at hearing them internally.
Writing
Architecture, governance, and research all leave the building as documents. Being able to write clearly is not a bonus skill here.

- 01
You apply
About ten minutes. A CV is optional, and what you say about the work you want carries more weight than anything else.
- 02
A person reads it
Someone here reads it. Nothing is scored, and we reply either way.
- 03
Two conversations
One about the work you have done, one with the people you would work alongside. Both are conversations rather than tests.
- 04
A decision, with reasons
If it is a no, we tell you what drove it. That costs us nothing and it is the part candidates say they never get.
